Let’s play Catan!

Are you seeking to get in that Catan fix? Want to sharpen your skills before the next tournament? Open to learning how to play?  Dreaming of sheep? 

Settlers of Catan (a multi-player strategy/resource management game). Player goal is to gather the right (combinations of) materials to build roads, settlements, and cities to gain victory points. The luck of the die (GameCraft inside joke shout out to RNGeezus) throw drives these resources and determines how many settlements and roads you can build, which in turn to accrue more resources (or you can use your natural wit).

Catan Board Game Day will be held in DLC (expanded area). Communal copies of Settlers of Catan will be available for use.  If you want to take home a copy, a limited number of unwrapped copies will be available for purchase.  Please feel free to bring your own copy of the game or expansions to play.

GameKeeper Kelly will be on-site to teach game play.  If you are a seasoned player, volunteer to teach newbies, or play with veterans. 

Walk-ins welcomed. Play, observe, or come and go as you please. Reservations available-would be nice to know who’s joining-write your Catan play level in the notes.

Standard version of Catan requires 3-4 players, expansions require 5-6 players. 

Please be mindful if you think you may have to leave before the game is over. Duration varies depending on players involvement / interactions (anywhere between 1-2 hours).

COST: Free to play. Please pay for your own food and beverages.  No outside food or beverage allowed.

DRESS: Casual attire (however, if you come in cosplay/event themed costume MJ will buy your first round).

All ages welcome. Responsible kiddos under 21 must accompany their adult at all times. 😉​
